Mama D is a 3-year-old long hair Chihuahua mix who came to us after being found in an abandoned house 💔🏚️ along with T-Bone, Snowball, Brownie and her 3 puppies 🐶🐶🐶, all now ready for their forever homes 🏡✨.
Despite her rough start, Mama D is incredibly sweet 💕, loves people 🤗, enjoys treats 🍖 and belly rubs 🐾, and gets along well with other small dogs 🐕💛.
She’s playful, gentle, and full of heart 💚💛, proudly leading her little rescue team onto the field as a true World Cup MVP of love and resilience ⚽🏆🐾.

Planning to travel with your furry friend into the United States? Make sure your pup is ready before heading to the border! 🐾

✔️ Dogs must have a valid rabies vaccination certificate from a licensed veterinarian
✔️ Rabies vaccines must be up to date
✔️ Puppies under 4 months old cannot enter the U.S.
✔️ Dogs showing signs of illness may be denied entry

📋 Your rabies certificate should include:
• Pet description
• Date of rabies vaccination
• Expiration date / next vaccine due date
• Veterinarian’s signature

⚠️ First rabies vaccine? Your dog must wait 30 days before entering the U.S.

If you didn’t know, our furry friends have been busy trading FIFA World Cup 2026 Panini stickers! 🫂 ™️

Today’s sticker features Selene, who is representing the Brazil squad! 🇧🇷🤗

Selene has been at ARLEP since April 8, 2025, and she is about 5-6 years old 🐾🐶

A friend of ARLEP spent a year trying to catch her, as she was surviving in the desert with a wound on her hip. Despite her hardships, Selene has recovered and opened up immensely thanks to our shelter staff and Rescue Walkers!🙏🥰

Now, Selene needs a furever home where she feels comfortable and loved 🤗✨
