Madhukara We support local shelters by preparing & serving meals.

We are a non profit 501(c)(3) serving others as reflections of the divine by providing basic resources to those in need - food, utilities, shelter assistance, medical supplies. Madhukara is a newly formed 501c3 non profit charity that is a community of healers serving as divine stewards to provide basic resources to people in need. Madhukara is dedicated to the collective awakening of the divine presence in all of humanity and offers educational programs to create a network of healers and miracle workers. If you know of a person(s) in need of basic resources or items to improve their quality of life, Madhukara can help.

The hive is showing up for our community.

Madhukara has been invited to provide food, basic resources, and donated clothing at a pop-up event supporting those experiencing homelessness this Saturday, August 29 — hosted alongside Cornerstone Community.

Nothing says family more than a BBQ picnic, and we're bringing all the fixings. Our mission has always been to be instruments of love and create feedback loops of gratitude — and we believe food and a hot meal open the soul.

Show up with us in South Bend.

Madhukara’s next street mission is August 15 in South Bend, IN and we're looking for volunteers to join us. Packing supplies, handing out warm meals, and taking a few minutes to really see the person in front of you.

This mission is made possible by Madhukara members who call South Bend home!
Whether you're local to South Bend or just want to be part of this mission, we'd love to have you.

Email [email protected] to volunteer — every hand makes a real difference.

The hive showed up this week.

Friday, we packed and delivered a warm meal and cold drinks directly to our neighbors in Columbus on our Street Mission. This included 30 bags containing two warm hot dogs, condiments, and snacks!

Saturday, we served a community meal at LSS Faith Mission — chicken and waffles with hash brown casserole, and an option of fresh fruit and ice cream! Providing our neighbors with good food reminds us exactly why this kind of work matters.

One of our volunteers, who brought her kids along on Street Mission, put it better than we could:

"It wasn't about the food, it was making people smile and thankful for warm food, a cold drink, and tons of kindness. I definitely felt I got more out of it than I gave. Highly recommend volunteering like this if you ever get the chance."

We are grateful to all of our donors — your contributions make missions like these possible.

A special thank you to Pam Bozzuto for donating funds for our Street Mission, and to our volunteers who showed up to hand out bags! Also, thank you to everyone who contributed to and served our meal at LSS.

Want to join us next time? Keep your eye out for upcoming opportunities to serve this month!

That's a wrap on Guru Purnima 2026!

Tuesday, the fire was lit and stayed burning all three days, honoring the Guru with sacred offerings and mantras.

Wednesday, we broke ground on the site of a future Divine Mother temple at Madhukara, spiritually preparing the space for what's to come. Then, Shivani and Sarah led us in kirtan, filling the evening with devotion and melodious prayers.

Thursday, we learned more about the purpose and place of the Guru with a talk from Rudra Das. Finally, we closed the weekend with a meditation taught by Shivani to connect us with the Divine Masters.

Thank you to everyone who was present with us at this most sacred festival — everyone who sat at the fire, sang with us, and was part of our hive this week. May we all recognize the Guru in one another.

We look forward to seeing you at our New Moon Fire on August 12!

Packing supplies, serving meals, and most importantly, showing up for our neighbors. No experience is needed, just an open heart and a couple hours to give.

This is service in its most direct form, and it's some of the most meaningful work we do all year.

Every extra hand makes a real difference.

Emergent Volunteer Opportunity!

We’re looking for volunteers to help us serve our community 💛

On Tuesday, March 24 (evening), we’ll be heading out to distribute bags of snacks and personal hygiene items to those in need around downtown Columbus. It’s a simple, meaningful way to connect, show kindness, and make a direct impact.

If you’re available and would like to join us, please comment below or send me a message for details. We’d love to have you be part of this mission!

This effort is inspired by Miss Shirley Raines (), and we’re honored to carry it forward in her memory 💜

If you would like to help fund this effort and future projects, please donate using the link in bio.

Thank you for helping care for our neighbors 🤍
