Our mystery parties are always a ton of fun, and this one is no exception. Join us for Tween Mystery Party on Thursday, June 25 from 6-8 PM in the Community Room.

You'll receive a character assignment and costume suggestions before the event, then step into character to solve the mystery before your fellow detectives. Along the way, enjoy a meal, plenty of laughs, and compete for prizes including Best Costume, Best Character Portrayal, and solving the mystery.

Recommended for tweens ages 9 to 12.

Tri-Wizard Quidditch Change of Plans:
Due to a rainy forecast, Quidditch will be held at a future date. On Thursday, June 18th we will offer a Harry Potter Fandom night from 6pm-8pm. Anyone who registered for Quidditch or who planned to spectate is welcome to join us to share their favorite book or movies moments, real life Wizarding encounter memories (have you seen The Cursed Child on Broadway) and more. Christine will share memories about hosting midnight book release parties! All ages welcome, cosplay is encouraged. Tri Wizard points will be awarded to all attendees and additional points will be awarded to those willing to brave the Muggle technology "the microphone".

BREAKING NEWS from the Ministry of Magic. The Tri-Wizard Tournament is coming to Fredricksen this summer.

The competition begins with Challenge 1: Quidditch on the Lawn on Thursday, June 18 from 6-8 PM. Gather your team, dress in your wizarding best, and put your strength and teamwork to the test as you compete to earn Tri-Wizard points on the path to becoming this year's Tri-Wizard Champion.

The more challenges you complete throughout the summer, the more points you'll earn. Additional tournament dates and details can be found on the graphic. Registration is required, and wizarding attire is highly encouraged.

Newspaper Club: Potato Post meets Thursday, June 18 from 2-3:30 PM in the Community Room.

Join our journalism club and help create stories that may be featured in our quarterly newsletter, The Potato Post. Activities include interviewing staff and patrons, writing book and movie reviews, and covering library events and community happenings.

This program is for tweens and teens ages 9 to 18. Registration is required and begins one month prior to each session.
