Mark your calendars for September 9–12, 2026, as the Ouachita County Fair returns to the Camden Sportsplex at Fairview Park for four days of “Farm Fresh Fun for Everyone!”

�Come support our local 4-H and FFA exhibitors as they showcase their livestock and hard work.

🎨 Creative Arts Exhibits
�See the incredible talents of Ouachita County residents with exhibits featuring quilting, crafts, photography, baked goods, canned goods, and more!

Entries accepted Monday, September 7 between 5PM and 7PM, and Tuesday, September 8 between the hours of 2PM to 7PM.

🧠🏃🏽‍♀️🔬 STEM-ulate Your Mind Fun Day is coming — and we want YOUR youth to be part of it!

Designed to get young minds thinking, moving, creating and having fun, this one-day experience combines STEM activities, physical activities, education, teamwork and FUN all in one exciting day!

✨ Explore STEM & spark creativity�💪🏽 Get active & learn about healthy choices�🤝🏽 Build teamwork, confidence & social skills�🎨 Discover hands-on activities and new opportunities�📚 Get ready for the new school year with a little “bounce back” from summer!

❤️ Five years ago.

📰 Isn’t it wild how fast time flies? It’s already been five years ago since this article was written. I wasn’t mayor yet. I just had a strong desire to see our beloved Camden prosper.

❤️ Since that time, I became mayor of this amazing city. I’ve worked so hard to make Camden better, stronger, and a better place to live - the kind of place you’d want your kids to grow up.

📈 Since that time, we’ve had a boom in the jobs market for our community where we have more jobs than people to fill them. We’ve also seen a major need for more housing - a major indicator of economic strength. Camden has so much going for it, we just have to keep our eyes on the prize and stay humble before God.

❤️And we’re just getting started.
