A second mission can change everything. ✈️

Thank you to KWAVE and Community Connection for giving Warriors In Need the opportunity to share our mission and the stories behind the work.

For many veterans, transitioning out of the military isn’t the end of their service, it’s the beginning of what comes next. At Warriors In Need, we’re helping veterans turn the skills, discipline and experience they already have into meaningful careers in aviation.

We’re grateful for every platform that helps us bring more awareness to the mission, reach more veterans and build stronger pathways into the aviation industry.

Thank you, KWAVE, for helping us tell the story.

Today, we’re proud to recognize Randy Meyer ,an outstanding Marine, mentor, and champion for the Warriors in Need community.

Randy’s impact reaches far beyond his own path. From within the Marine Corps, he has helped fellow Marines navigate the aviation technician training program with guidance, connection, and encouragement. His leadership helps turn military experience into meaningful opportunity.

Randy, thank you for your service, your commitment, and the way you continue to show up for other Marines. Congratulations on this milestone. Your impact reaches far beyond the flight line.

Semper Fidelis.

The experience is already earned. Now it’s about creating the pathway forward.

Several transitioning military aviation maintainers met with the FAA at WIN headquarters to receive their signed FAA Form 8610-2,an important step toward FAA certification.

They already have years of hands-on experience. WIN helps bridge that experience into the credentials and opportunities needed for a career in civilian aviation.

This is what veteran transition looks like in action.

Meet Diego Munoz , U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

After five years as a CH-53E Crew Chief, Diego earned his FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification and is now building a future in aviation—one he earned through hard work, determination, and the right support.

This is why Warriors In Need exists.

Not to make promises.
To create outcomes.

One veteran.
One career.
One family changed forever.

“Keep going. Opportunity doesn’t stop until you give up.”

This is what veteran transition looks like.

Recently, Warriors In Need had the opportunity to tour StandardAero’s world-class engine facility in Dallas, Texas, thanks to the invitation of Joe Robinson, a United States Marine veteran and longtime supporter of our mission.

During the visit, we connected with General Manager Max Allen, who provided a letter of support for our FAA Workforce Grant application as we continue building career pathways for transitioning veterans.

These partnerships matter.

They help create direct connections between military talent and employers who recognize the value veterans bring to the workforce.

We’re grateful to the StandardAero team for opening their doors and helping us build a stronger future for the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals.

Today we celebrate the freedom so many have answered the call to protect.

To every veteran, active-duty service member, military family, and those who continue serving their communities long after the uniform comes off—thank you.

At Warriors in Need, we believe independence is strengthened when we stand together. Today, and every day, we’re committed to helping veterans build their next mission.

Happy Fourth of July. 🇺🇸

The veteran transition is real—and no one should have to navigate it alone.

Every day, military-trained men and women leave service with valuable skills, discipline, and leadership. They don’t need a handout—they need a pathway.

At Warriors In Need, we’re connecting veterans to careers in aviation maintenance, helping them turn military experience into long-term opportunity.

Together, we can change a veteran’s trajectory.
