When you're really struggling, having one trusted person to turn to can make all the difference. For many children and youth in foster care, that person is their CASA of Ventura County volunteer.

This World Mental Health Day, we're shining a light on the many ways CASA volunteers meaningfully support the well-being of the children they serve. They do this every day by:

💙 Advocating for mental health services
💙 Practicing trauma-informed care
💙 Modeling healthy relationships
💙 Being a consistent, positive adult in a child's life
💙 And so much more

Today is National DAF Day!💙

If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), please consider recommending a grant to CASA of Ventura County. Your gift directly supports the volunteer Advocates who stand beside children in foster care—often becoming the only consistent, caring presence in a child’s life.

For a child in foster care, everything can change overnight. Their home. Their school. Their family. The adults they know and trust.

But a Volunteer Advocate can be the person who stays.

Week after week, our Advocates show up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect—listening, advocating, encouraging, and making sure their voices are heard.

Your DAF gift helps make it possible for an Advocate to say to a child: “I’m here. I’m not going anywhere. You don’t have to go through this alone.”

Every child deserves someone in their corner.
