💗 CAC PARTNER SPOTLIGHT: CALHOUN WOMEN’S CENTER 💗

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community partners, and today we want to shine a light on one of our valued partners, Calhoun Women’s Center!

Their commitment to caring for women in our community is making a difference, and we are thankful to have organizations like theirs supporting the health and well-being of the people we serve.

This month on August 20th, Calhoun Women’s Center is offering “A Day of Cervix and Mams” — an opportunity to help make important women’s health screenings more accessible.

🩷 FREE Pap smears will be available to women who are uninsured.

Preventive care and early detection are important parts of taking care of yourself, and we appreciate Calhoun Women’s Center for helping remove barriers to care in our community.

🚒 Community Partnership in Action

The Calhoun Aquatic Center was honored to host Gordon County Fire & Rescue as part of their recruit class's 24-hour training day. During their visit, recruits completed drown-proofing and water survival training, an important component of preparing first responders for real-world emergency situations.

We are proud to provide our facility as a resource for the dedicated men and women who work tirelessly to protect our community. Opportunities like these strengthen the partnerships that help make Calhoun-Gordon County a safer place to live and work.

A special thank you to Lieutenant Greg Hasty, Fire Inspector/Fire Investigator, and the entire Gordon County Fire & Rescue team for your commitment to excellence and public safety. We appreciate all you do for our community!

The Calhoun Aquatic Center is proud to partner with Advance Rehabilitation in supporting the health and wellness of our community!

Advance Rehabilitation is hosting an Open House at their Adairsville Clinic to introduce their newest service—Shockwave Therapy.

During the Open House, you'll receive a complimentary 15-minute Shockwave Therapy session and have the opportunity to learn how this non-invasive treatment may help relieve pain and promote healing.

Bring the family and enjoy time together in the water at the Calhoun Aquatic Center during our Family Swim hours! Whether you are looking for fun, exercise, or a way to cool off this summer, the CAC is the perfect place to swim and make memories together.
