Tomorrow, Brother Mark Abney will be delivering his final sermon before his retirement. He will be opening the Word to Isaiah 43:18-21 for a message titled "New Things." Just as the prophet Isaiah reminded God’s people that the Lord makes a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, Brother Mark will share how God is always at work doing a new thing in our lives and in His church.

Following the worship service, we invite everyone to stay for cake and ice cream! We want to use this time to celebrate Brother Mark, thank him for his years of faithful pastoral ministry to our congregation, and wish him the absolute best in his well-deserved retirement.

We are blessed to welcome back Brother Shannon Miller as our guest preacher! He will be opening God's Word to Acts 16:11-34 with a sermon titled, "The Lady, the Slave, and the Jailer: The Gospel Comes to Philippi."

Have you ever wondered how the Gospel can reach people from completely different walks of life? Tomorrow, we'll see exactly how the transformative power of Jesus Christ breaks through every barrier to save a wealthy businesswoman, an exploited slave girl, and a desperate Roman jailer.

Following the worship service, we will be having a church-wide potluck dinner, so please bring your favorite dish to share as we enjoy a time of wonderful fellowship.

Right after the meal, our members will hold a brief but highly important business meeting to vote on calling Brother Shannon Miller to be our new pastor.
