Leeton, Missouri Lions Club We promote and improve the community of Leeton through organized activities and events What does the Leeton Lions Club do? Yearly since 1963.

For over 50 years, the Leeton Lions Club has invested thousands of hours and dollars toward improving the Leeton community. Here is a list of projects that the Leeton Lions Club has organized, sponsored, and funded since 1961.
-Construction of Shelter House at city park. 1960s
-Purchase and installation of city street signs. 1960s
-Sponsorship of youth to American Legion Boys State / Girls State. Yearly since 1978
-Sponsor of the Annual Earl Lowry Memorial 5th and 6th Grade Basketball Tournament. Yearly since 1981
-Sponsor of the Leeton Summer Recreation Program serving over 150 youth of the community every year. Since the start of this program, more than 250 teams with thousands of youth have played organized baseball and softball with support from the Leeton Lions.
-Aid the Leeton R-X School District in maintenance of baseball and softball fields. Thousands of dollars and volunteer hours have been donated to maintenance and upgrades of the facilities at the school.
-Sponsorship of Leeton R-X athletes to the annual Lions District 26I All Star Basketball Tournament. Yearly since 1980
-Sponsorship of Leeton R-X students to the annual Lions District 26I All Star Band Contest. Yearly since 1975
-Provide finical assistance for exams and corrective vision services for youth of Leeton and surrounding communities.
-Host of the West Central Missouri All Star Baseball Game. Yearly since 2009
-Contributed money and volunteer hours to the construction of new concession stand in 2012
-contributed money and resources toward a new park shelter structure at Grinstead Park.

We’re just 1️⃣ day away from Leeton’s Red, White and Boom 2026! We’re excited to have you join us for another year of community fun and fireworks. 🎇

As you’re planning to attend, here are a few reminders:
🚘 Use the Wall Street entrance. The EE entrance will be closed. Parking and admission are FREE!
🚫 No dogs are allowed.
🇺🇸 Pack your blanket or lawn chairs. We have lots of space to get a great view. Tents are allowed but must not block others view. All tents and umbrellas must be taken down before the fireworks start.

Gates open tomorrow at 6:00, Chloe Hoecker Music starts at 7:00. Come hungry- lots of food vendors are ready to serve!

This year will bring more parking, more vendors, more family fun and more fireworks! Join us for Leeton’s Red, White and Boom 2026.
