Today, the Treasure House Thrift Store recognizes the birthday of David Scott, an indispensable team member who provides support in numerous areas. David's skills are diverse, ranging from fixing leaky faucets and assisting with heavy garbage removal to repairing donated furniture, fixing electrical ceiling fans, and building a porch wall to shield against the wind. We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to David for his selfless contributions and wish him a joyous birthday, with many more years of good health and happiness to come.

I am writing to address a rumor that has been circulating about the Treasure House Thrift Store. Would you like to know what it is? Someone has been spreading the false information that we are closing. However, I am pleased to inform you that this is not true. We are not closing and have recently received new donations, which are being added to our inventory. The store is currently filled with these items, and we are offering various sales throughout the store area. We have also welcomed new volunteer staff members who are working together to provide our customers with exceptional service and competitively priced items. Our operating hours are 10-4 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We invite you to visit us, seek out your treasures, shop to your heart's content, and enjoy the savings. Additionally, we encourage you to donate any items you no longer need, as all sale proceeds support our local McLean County Museum, located next door. We are open and restocking daily with new items.

To our valued supporters of the Treasure House Thrift Store, we extend our gratitude for your past donations and invite your continued support. Our store requires merchandise donations to maintain operations. We invite individuals of all ages to clean out their closets, catch-all drawers, and kitchen cabinets. Please be aware that we accept all items, except large appliances and furniture, due to limited storage space. We encourage you to plan a donation to support our mission and assist in covering the McLean County Museum's monthly expenses. Furthermore, we accept downsizing items, estate items, and leftover garage sale items. Our store is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am to 4pm. If you are unable to visit during these hours, please contact the Museum at 270-499-5033 to arrange a special drop-off. For any inquiries, please do not hesitate to ask via this page.

Two more shopping days remain for CHRISTMAS decorations and clothes for the season. ALL CHRISTMAS items in store will be 90% off this Friday, December 19th, and Monday, December 22nd. We will be open from 10-4 on each of these days. We will then be closed until January 5th.
All other items are still at the drawing sales price of either 50% or 75%. Just bring all items to check out for appropriate mark down.
