Think youโve got what it takes to serve up some seriously good BBQ? Weโre looking for BBQ contestants to join us for the Cabool Community Foundation Bulldog BBQ Festival on September 12, 2026, in Downtown Cabool!
Whether youโre a seasoned competitor or simply love firing up the smoker and feeding a crowd, weโd love to have you join the fun. Gather your team, bring your best recipes, and come compete while our community samples and votes for their favorites!

๐ฅUnleash Your BBQ Skills: Whether you're a seasoned pitmaster or a backyard BBQ enthusiast, this is your chance to showcase your grilling prowess! Bring your best recipes, secret sauces, and perfectly smoked meats to impress our panel of expert judges and BBQ lovers. Rules and guidelines are located on our CCF FB page.
๐Prizes and Glory Await: Compete for the title of BBQ Champion and take home prize money! Not to mention the ultimate bragging rights among your fellow grill enthusiasts. The categories include Best Beef Tri-Tip, Pulled Pork Perfection, and Lip-Smacking Chicken. Do one or all three; the choice is up to you.
๐Fun for the Whole Family: While the grill masters work their magic, there's plenty of fun for everyone! Enjoy live music by The No Static Band, a car show by The Southern Cruisers Car Club, a motorcycle show by The Show-Me Desciples, a Jeep show, 12 gauge shotgun raffle, a beer garden for responsible 21+ year-olds, delicious food from our competitors, and interactive games for the kids. It's an evening of tasty treats and entertainment that you won't want to miss!
๐Admission Details: Adults: Voting & sampling cards are $10 at the gate allowing to sample each entry from all BBQ contestants. Ticket sales start at 4:00 P.M. If you donโt want to vote, admission is free (but we encourage you to voice your opinion for your favorite)!
