Via Mago Horn
Seeking roommate for 2 BR / 2 BA apartment in Pahrump, NV (about an hour from Las Vegas). Apartment was built a year ago, and was amply baked out and ventilated.
Available bedroom is 11 x 10 with walk-in closet. Rent for the room is $600, out of a total of $1400 for the apartment (I have the larger , master bedroom).
This newish duplex is part of a fourplex (groups of two side-by-side apartments are separated by a breezeway). Three of the apartments are inhabited by mold- and chemically-sensitive individuals (including myself).
The unit is carpet-free, has no dishwasher (those go moldy!), and would, of course, be entirely fragrance- and chemical-free. So far, one neighbor has Wi-Fi. She turns it off at night, and we turn off our phones as well.
Possible deal-breaker for you: I have a dog. Summers are hot. My dog does love people as well as other dogs.
Pahrump is near some truly pristine wilderness areas with good air, including Red Rock Canyon wilderness area, Mt. Charleston, Lovell Canyon, Ash Meadows, and Death Valley National Park. The Tecopa hot springs are about 45 minutes from here.
The apartment itself abuts a large open field.
I need a non-smoker who is good at mold avoidance and free of scents and chemical products. I prefer someone who isn't hyper-focused on talk of illness. A somewhat uplifting attitude helps.
