Our community has always been at the heart of Hangar. 🩵

Every conversation, every meal served, every ride given, and every welcoming smile can make a difference in the life of a student. But we can’t do it alone!

We’re looking for caring individuals in our community to step up, get involved, and become part of the Hangar family. Whether you can help at the front desk, coordinate snacks and dinners, mentor students, drive the bus, or lend a hand with cleanup—there’s a place for you here.

8/25/26 = The last, and best summer outing🚤🤿💦

Our students have been having a fun summer with many Hangar events and outings. With the last summer event of the year, we would like to announce it involves boats and tubing! Our dear Hangar friend Curt Stuck has invited the students to his lake house for one last hoorah. Expect water and lots of fun!

Meet up point is still the Hangar Youth Center building at 3pm. Please bring a bathing suit, a towel if you can, and extra clothes to change in to. This is going to be an outing you really don't want to miss!

Every story starts with a community that chooses to show up. 💙

Watching our students step up, lend a hand, and become part of something bigger than themselves is such a gift. None of it would be possible without a community that encourages them, believes in them, and walks alongside them every step of the way.

We love seeing our students grow in confidence, deepen their faith, and discover they have something meaningful to give back. Thank you for being part of this story. Together, we're building a community where every young person knows they belong.

Talk about a SWEET day! 🍬🎉

Our students had an absolute blast at the Byron Day's Parade! Between waving at familiar faces, handing out candy, and soaking in all the excitement, there were smiles from start to finish.

One of our favorite things about Hangar is getting to experience moments like these together. Byron Day's is such a fun tradition, and we love seeing our students out in the community, making memories, sharing laughs, and enjoying everything that makes this place feel like home.

Days like this remind us that community isn't just a place—it's the people who cheer you on, wave from the sidelines, and make you feel like you belong. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who helps make events like Byron Day's so special. We can't wait to do it all again next year!
