Sleep in Heavenly Peace - MN, Twin Cities South Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a nonprofit organization that builds and delivers beds to kids who don't have a bed of their own.

As an all volunteer nonprofit chapter of an international organization, the Twin Cities South chapter of Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP) joyfully builds and delivers beds to kids 3-17 that are sleeping on the floor and in other uncomfortable situations. We are locally funded by organizations and individuals, receive support from local volunteers to build and deliver beds, and serve kids in portions

of Dakota and Scott counties. Beds are assembled in the child's sleeping area and come with mattress, pillow and bedding so they are sleep ready the same day.

Looking for a feel-good activity this week? Spend a couple of hours building beds 🛏 for kids in the south metro who don't have a bed of their own. We especially need your help on Friday evening🌝 and Saturday morning 🌞. See you there!

Please join us to build beds for kids in our community who are without a bed. We will cut, sand, assemble and finish bed components. No experience is necessary and we have jobs for anyone from middle school aged to retirees. We will supply all the tools and protective gear (masks, gloves, ear plugs....

Great opportunity for Scott County residents to donate bedding that will make the beds 🛏 being given to kids in our community nice and cozy. 🙏

No kid sleeps on the floor in our town! We're collecting bedding for one of our ministry partners, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, with a drop-off at Resonate on Sunday, March 15th and 22nd.

What kids need:
-NEW Twin size bedding
-NEW Twin size bed-in-a-bag...most preferred
-Tie Blankets and Quilts, 63" X 87" when finished
-Please NO pillows. SHP has a resource for these

Our chapter delivered beds 🛏 to 765 kids in 2025, including these siblings on Christmas Eve morning. This was only able to happen because 1,990 volunteers worked 4,980 hours to build and deliver the beds to 372 families across the south metro. Amazing 😮work; we are forever grateful.🫶
