The Brubeck Brothers Quartet is coming to town, and this is one of those “you don’t want to miss it” kind of shows. Hearing Take Five live is already special… but hearing it performed by Dave Brubeck’s own sons? That’s next level.
Chris Brubeck and the group carry on a legacy that’s been shaping jazz for generations, bringing energy, creativity, and that unmistakable Brubeck sound to the stage. These guys have played everywhere—from Newport to Monterey—and now they’re bringing it to us.

This Saturday at 7 PM — experience a truly unforgettable evening of film and live symphonic music.
Burlington Civic Music and the Southeast Iowa Symphony present a powerful oratorio telling the story of Joan of Arc—the young girl from Domremy, France whose faith, courage, and conviction led her to change history.
The night features the legendary silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc, widely considered one of the greatest films ever made. First released in France in 1928 and the U.S. in 1929, it continues to captivate audiences and film students alike with its raw emotion and striking imagery.
Accompanying the film is a haunting live score by Richard Einhorn, written in 1994 specifically for this masterpiece. The music blends chorus and orchestra with texts from ancient writings—including Joan’s own words—creating a stunning, emotional experience often hailed as a modern masterpiece.
Film. Music. History. Faith.
All coming together for one extraordinary night.
