The Haven A Faith Based Family Resource Center The Lord God has put his Spirit in me,

Last evening The Haven lost something very precious. Marcia Shephard was one of our longest running volunteers. She made packing diapers fun, making the work go quicker. If you were to drop in during one of our packing sessions you would hear nothing but a lot of laughter. Marcia, along with our longest term volunteer, Linda Brown, always made the work a joyful experience. Marcia volunteered with us for several years and our next packing session is going to be so hard to get through. You can't replace her spirit. We will miss Marcia very much. Thank you Marcia for all the years you gave us. You will never be forgotten.

This arrived a little while ago. I was listening to the driver as he just kept bringing box after box. I couldn't believe it! AND it was the 2nd delivery of the day! We are all so grateful for the community stepping up and helping us take care of families in our community. , ,

We've been a little quiet over the past year. Personal life circumstances and financial difficulties for The Haven have put a considerable impact on our public presence. But we haven't quit, we aren't gone. We've still been helping families over the past year. Now we are ready to pick up the pace and get back to being a face in the community. We seriously need size 3's and wipes. Please consider ordering through our Amazon link or Sam's. If you want to just pick up something at Wal-Mart there is a drop box at Legacy Baptist Church or you can put them on the porch at 25 Oak Ridge Rd, Buffalo MO 65622.
