The theme was “Winter Wonderland” and it filled the conference room at the County 4-H Food & Nutrition Show. Menu planning, food safety and table presentation was on full display. Congratulations to Kraft Kids for placing first.

We invite the public to attend Saturday, July 26, 2025, to appreciate all the hard work that goes into a 4-H project.

Over the weekend, the Windham County 4-H Public Speaking Contest took place. The Speeches and Visual Presentations showcased the many interests of this brave group. They spoke in front of their families, Leaders and fellow 4-Her's, and I could not have been prouder. Best of luck to the presenters that are moving on to compete at the next level.

On Saturday the Windham County Extension Office played host to the 2025 Food Show. The theme was Barbecue and the food was delicious. Menu planning, understanding the cost of ingredients and food safety, were just some of the lessons learned. Congratulations to the Happy Herdsmen and the Krafty Kids for sharing the high score.
