Mystery Machine checking in!

He can’t believe no one has adopted him this weekend, but he’s willing to give everyone another chance to snap him up. Our sweetheart is adjusting to storefront life and a little shy with new people, but he’s already very comfortable with me and super chatty. I’ve learned he’s a social eater who likes me to hang out while he chows down, that he loves toys, and is super curious about other cats (even when they don’t like him much). I think he’d love a home with another playful cat pal.

MM is 2, neutered, tested negative for fiv/felv and ready to go home. He’s a delight!

Introducing Mystery Machine! 🚐 ready for immediate adoption!

Ok, this guy is the complete package! He arrived from ACC with Rain Berry yesterday and is also super, super sweet and a total model. MM is one year old and was returned from adoption after getting sick. He’s feeling much better now and is ready to go home with you.

Mystery Machine is chatty, curious, and loves belly rubs. He’d do well is all homes and doesn’t seem to mind other cats. His orange tabbiness is of the swirly variety, and I know he will get snapped up quickly, as he should.

MM is 1 year old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for fiv/felv. Our adoption fee is $80 and our app is at catrepublic.com/adopting.

Meet Rain Berry: she’s perfect and available for immediate adoption! This stunner is a super friendly, fun girl who just arrived from ACC. She’s 1 year old, gorgeous, and is already a champion fly hunter. Rain Berry seems to be afraid of other cats, so if you’re looking for a solo kid, she’s your girl.

Right now, Rain Berry is recovering from a hernia that happened after her spay, but she’s finished with antibiotics and recovering super well. She’s vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for fiv/felv.

This absolute hunk is Mr. George! He’s fresh from the ACC transport van and ready for a home (though he’s heading to a foster tonight).

I’ve only just met him, but he is an absolute love, soaking up pets, purring, and ready to jump into your heart and lap. At the shelter, Mr. George was a level 2 cat, meaning he’s good for an average experience level. He’s 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for fiv/felv and has the biggest eyes with the cutest chirp I’ve ever heard. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky!

Fosters needed in Brooklyn starting this week! 🏡

Our friends at , the city’s open intake shelter, are in the process of taking in over 100 cats from hoarding cases and need to move as many cats currently at the shelter out as possible in order to accommodate the new cats.

These two cuties will be joining us tomorrow and would love to have foster homes lined up! Both are level 1 (beginner friendly), altered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for fiv/felv. They have minor medical needs and may need oral meds, but it should be easy given that they are love bugs.

Mystery Machine is the handsome orange tabby, 1 year old. He was adopted but returned for getting an upper respiratory infection. He needs to be kept away from other cats til he’s feeling better and get antibiotics.

Rain Berry is also about a year old. She was spayed last week and developed an abscess at the incision site that is now healing. She needs someone to monitor it and place a warm compress a couple times per day (if she allows it).

I realized that I never introduced Cabbage to the grid, so here she is! Cabbage is a very sweet little torbie kitten, about 5 weeks old. Her mom was struggling to take care of her and she arrived to me with her brother, who was sadly near death and had to be humanely euthanized. Cabbage though has thrived since the moment she came indoors. She saved me from bottle feeding by eating kitten food voraciously from the start, and she has developed a super funny, playful and sweet disposition. Since she can’t be around other cats yet, her favorite pal is a stuffed puppy, and she cuddles with him constantly.

Cabbage is currently in foster and will be available for adoption later this summer once she’s big enough to be spayed. ❤️

Foster needed! 🏠🏡

Phoebe is a cute, young, friendly girl currently living outdoors. Neighbors are taking care of her and believe she was left behind after a move. You can help Phoebe by fostering her until her spay appointment on June 8th!

As soon as she comes inside, we’ll get her vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas. Then she’ll get tested for fiv/felv and spayed on June 8th. In the meantime, she should be a solo cat or kept separate from resident cats.

Thanks to all our fosters who have taken in these kiddos over the last few days! Fostering is so important because it allows the cats to get more individual attention (and cuddles) and opens up space for new cats, especially at this super busy time of year.
