Music that Makes Community, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, connects a worldwide network of practitioners and leaders who share a practice of paperless song leading. We partner with hosts to produce conferences and workshops to teach the practice and create resources for making connections and building a repertoire of songs for paperless song leading.

Brother Zachary Stevens-Walter is an ordained Friar and Priest in the Order of Franciscan Servants at Saint Joseph Mission Church. He lives in Manhattan, with his spouse and their three children. He makes music, watches birds, studies his own heritage, and devotes his internal life to the pursuit of prayer without ceasing.

Pam Blevins Hinkle is a composer, ritual artist, and choral conductor. Pam leads SongSquad Indianapolis and a song circle at Indiana Women’s Prison, is a core songleader for Indy Singing Resistance, Artist-in-Residence at Castleton United Methodist Church, and lead artist for a community singing project in Indianapolis.
