We create fun and brave spaces that nurture a sense of belonging and community for neurodivergent youth. We are A SPACE TO BE.

Extreme Kids & Crew is a welcoming space where children with disabilities, their friends, and their families, socialize, create and play. We offer free arts and play programming to families across New York City, cultivating environments where families share resources and laughter while children play and take part in inclusive programming that is open to all members of the family.

It’s our last week at Discovery Den this summer, say it ain’t so!!!! 🥺 We’ve enjoyed creating and learning about arts around the world, building model cars, trying gaming challenges, and of course, making new friends.

👁️ Keep an eye out for future programs at Discovery Den this fall and winter, including a new teen club coming in October!

Our opening reception for “Dreamer’s Perspectives” was a special evening. 🥹📸 Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, visitors, and of course, our artists whose worlds and perspectives we got a glimpse into!

The exhibition is up at Long Story Short NYC until August 23, so stop by and take a stroll.

Our families had a blast at the Lonely Worm Farm last weekend 🐐 picking raspberries, making pizza, and feeding the goats lots and lots of mugwort. Smiles all around!

Join us for four weeks of hands-on learning, creativity, and fun, designed especially for youth.

Our wheelchair accessible, sensory-friendly space is the perfect place for kids (7-13) to explore their interests, cultivate their creativity, and build confidence as well as friendships.
