These questions and more will be answered at the next Chestnuthill Township Historical Society meeting on May 16th at 2pm at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building (271 PA-715, Brodheadsville, PA 18322). Join us to hear our President Taylor J. Keller speak about the history of our local postal system and how it works. As always, we welcome the public to attend.

Today, our members had the special opportunity to hear West End Fire Co. veteran Eric Hoffman present “The History of the West End Fire Company” followed by an extensive tour of the new West End Emergency Services Center in Brodheadsville.

Join us for the unveiling of our America250 Keystone painted by local artist Aida Weinstein, and to hear local historian Norman Burger present his new book “One-Room School: History and Memorabilia of Monroe County’s West End & Adjacent Townships.”
