Today we want to thank our supporters, team, community partner and site hosts for their efforts in support of our recent fly fishing event on a private high quality stream in Stroudsburg, PA. Event was enjoyed by Veterans, First Responders and family members. It was a wonderful day. An Army career (22 years) Veterans son caught the most fish by far bringing in browns, rainbows and a brookie. We are grateful to our hosts for allowing us access to their stellar estate. The TU chapter rocked it by hand tying flies for our guests. Our cook made awesome field meals for both breakfast and lunch. Our instructors and guides organized and guided the events. The people we serve made the day worth hosting. If you are interested in joining us, reach out. Our next event will be August 15th on a lake at Camp Trexler. Thank you all, the Vets salute you!!

Today I want to thank our supporters and team members who helped bring hope to the people of Buckhannon WV during their flood disaster emergency. Whether you donated food, basic life need items, hotel space, meals, money or time it would not of happened without your willingness to make the world a better place. Although, we borrowed these photos from another unknown photographer documenting the crisis, they are some of our people and resources pictured. Furniture and other items will go in next convoy leaving Saturday or Sunday. Details to follow as situation in WV becomes clearer. Thank you, the Vets salute you!!

We are experiencing a water pressure challenge at our Paul's House facility in Kunkletown. and are having some difficulty finding a weekend repair. There is a leak near bladder tank and a stuck closed valve next to the leak. Copper pipes appear to be 1" but might be 1 1/4" i didn't measure. If you have both the talent and heart to help arrive when you can please our assistant house manager would like a shower at some point. 1130 Scenic Drive, Kunkletown PA is location. Leak is in basement next to bilco door steps. Photo is not actual leak. Call 931 801 3627 to coordinate and ask for Dave. Thank you, the Vets salute you!!

Many of you know we work with homeless Veterans. The skills and resources needed to help the homeless in the streets are the same as those needed when community disasters strike. We were asked today to put together a team and resources to send to Buchanan WV in response to the flood. Our box truck or a convoy will depart from our Paul's House facility Monday the 28th. Our reception partners in WV will be the American Legion. If you are willing to go, come to Paul's House today at 4pm. If you are willing to support here are items we need quickly--so shipped next day delivery or bring them to VALOR Clinic 1130 Scenic Drive, Kunkletown, PA 18058. Thank you, The Vets salute you!!
1. water purification items including bleach, filters, iodine tablets etc--bottled water or gatorade
2. hygiene items including, toilet paper, soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste, shampoo, deodorant, floss
3. Non perishable food items, dinty moore stew, chunky soups, rise, granola bars, jerky, dried fruit
4. basic needs items, paper plates, paper towels, plastic silverware, garbage bags
5. bedding items like tents, air mattresses, pillows and sleeping bags--blankets ok but skip the sheets
6 Response items like shovels, mops and brooms--dust pans
7. Gift cards to pay for travel fuel
