Good Friday.
Good for who?
It certainly wasn’t a good day for the man named Jesus, who hung on that cross and died a terrible death.
But Jesus Christ, Our Lord & Savior, died that death for us, you & me, everyone who chooses to believe.
I sometimes think about what Jesus’s mother, father, family, and friends had to endure as they watched their friend, son & now Savior die for all the people who despised him.
Imagine that for a moment- your son, your friend, willing to die the most painful death imaginable so that we can All be Saved. Watching that sacrifice had to be enough to nearly break any normal human being, let alone those closest to him.
I think we sometimes think of this gift of salvation as a story, and while yes, it is in the best book ever written, this happened, this Friday really happened, blood was shed for you and me.
We at Hay Chix pray that this Friday is truly Good for you because you know the truth and have chosen Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior.
If there were ever a time we all needed the promise of something better, it’s now, and it’s your choice. We pray you choose to believe that Good is coming, Son~Day is coming, and when He makes His next appearance, I’m certain you’ll want to be ready…
