We have a brand new heating and cooling system!! I appreciate everyone that endured the temperatures of our building last summer and still shopped hard and worked hard regardless but that same endurance won’t be needed this summer. Praise the Lord we have AC! So come and shop in a climate controlled building all summer long.

We have the shed and the box truck empty and ready to receive donations for the weekend. Here are a couple things that will help out tremendously as you donate this weekend.

1. Place your donation as far to the back as you can.

2. Stack stuff as high as you can.

This is our busiest weekend of the year for donations. The more space you leave for the next person the smoother it goes for everyone.

Also, stop in and shop if you’re a deal hunter. With the rain garage sales aren’t as fun. It also brings good stuff to our store as many people end up donating the contents of their garage sale because they don’t want to deal with the weather. So come check out we we’ve got!

This silent auction is up and going and ends on Friday May 15th at 4:00 pm. You can bid by entering a bid in the bid book in store or by messaging us on Facebook or Instagram. Comments on the post or pictures will not be counted as an eligible bid. Only in store bids will be accepted on the last day, May 15th. We will periodically update bids on our Facebook and Instagram story. For the best description please come in store to check out an item you’re interested in. We won’t be able to give a detailed overview of each item online. Once an item exceeds $20 the minimum bid increase is $5. Once it exceeds $50 the minimum bid increase is $10. Please plan on paying for your item within 3 business days of the auction ending.

A quick thank you to all of our customers, donors and volunteers for a great first quarter.

Our donations are up 83% from last year.

We’ve been able to give 182% more money this year to date.

Last night was the annual fundraiser for Lazarus Life Ministries. We were reminded once again that while addiction is ugly and life consuming it does not have to define a person. Jesus Christ redeems life from the pit of despair.

This is why we give to Lazarus. It’s not perfect. Guys still quit the program. Graduates have relapsed and even died. But we believe that the root of the issue needs addressed. That’s what Lazarus is trying to do. It’s more than just getting clean. It’s trying to heal a person’s mind, body and soul.

Struggling with addiction? Reach out to them. Sitting on stacks of cash? Give to them. Looking to get involved? Volunteer with them. Have nice stuff that can be donated? We will take it and turn it into money for their ministry.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
