WHAT AN AMAZING DAY!! 🙌🏾❤️
As we prepare for our Food Drive this Saturday, we went out expecting to bring back approximately 9,000 pounds of food. But God had other plans! 🙌🏾
WE CAME BACK WITH OVER 18,000 POUNDS OF FOOD! 🎉🙌🏾
And now, we have an abundance of food to share with our community and surrounding areas this Saturday. We want to make sure NO ONE LEAVES HUNGRY!

Everything will be FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE, so PLEASE come early!

If you need clothes, please arrive at 8:00AM.
🍎 FOOD DISTRIBUTION — 9:00 AM

🧼 HELP US MEET THE NEED — PERSONAL HYGIENE DRIVE 🧼
As Change Direction Through Compassion continues to grow, so does the need within the communities we serve.
We are reaching out to all four corners of Jefferson County and across this nation for support.
We are currently in need of personal hygiene products, including:
🧺 Laundry detergent
🧼 Bath soap & body wash
🪥 Toothbrushes & toothpaste
🧴 Deodorant
🧻 Personal care items
🧼 Hand soap
🚺Women products
🧻 Paper Towels and Toilet Paper
…and any other unopened personal hygiene products that can help a family in need.
These may seem like simple everyday necessities, but for some families, they can be difficult to afford.
We need your help to keep our shelves stocked and our community supported.

On behalf of Change Direction Through Compassion today was more than a success—it was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together under one purpose: to serve others with love, faith, and compassion.

To every volunteer, every sponsor, every partner, every church member, every worker, and every person who gave their time, resources, and prayers—thank you. Because of your generosity and dedication, lives were touched and hearts were encouraged.

Today, we proudly distributed more than 240 backpacks to students preparing for the new school year. We also served over 300 individuals and families with fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, bread, hot dogs, chips, and drinks. More than food and school supplies were shared today—we shared hope, kindness, dignity, and compassion.

This day reminded us that when a church, nonprofit organization, community partners, and caring individuals work together in unity, there is no limit to the impact we can make. Today wasn't just about giving away supplies; it was about showing our community that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

From the heart of the Pastor and the New Direction Ministry of Brighton, thank you for making our Annual Back-to-School Giveaway an unforgettable day. Your hands became the hands of service, your hearts reflected Christ’s compassion, and your support helped bring this vision to life.

May God richly bless each of you for every act of kindness, every sacrifice, and every prayer. We are grateful, we are humbled, and we are excited about what God will continue to do through us.

Due to the weather forecast, our Annual Back-to-School Giveaway will be held indoors this Saturday. Everything is still happening—we're just moving inside!
