As our community gets ready for trick-or-treating, costumes, and Halloween festivities, Brighton Housing Authority wants to help our residents and neighbors enjoy the weekend safely!

A few friendly safety reminders:

For trick-or-treaters: Stay with a trusted adult, use sidewalks and crosswalks, carry a flashlight or glow stick, and check all treats before enjoying them.🍬

For drivers: Slow down in residential neighborhoods, watch for children crossing the street, and stay extra alert during evening hours. 🚗

For residents: Keep walkways well-lit and clear, secure doors and windows, and keep an eye out for neighbors who may need a helping hand.🏡

Look out for one another: If something seems genuinely concerning or you notice suspicious activity, trust your instincts and report it to the appropriate authorities. For emergencies, always call 911.

Most importantly, enjoy the festivities and look out for one another! BHA is proud to be part of a community where neighbors care for neighbors. We wish all our residents, families, and little ghosts and goblins a fun, safe, and memorable Halloween!

Happy Halloween from your Brighton Housing Authority team! 🧡 🎃
