Some weekends stay with you.

This year’s Rodear reminded us that what happens here is about much more than the few days we spend together in Bridgeport. Each year, western women artists and makers come together to learn from one another, exchange stories and experiences, and deepen friendships that continue long after everyone heads home.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who made The Rodear 2026 possible—our artists and makers, workshop instructors, performers, chef and winemaker, scholarship recipients, Friends and Partners, auction donors and buyers, volunteers, event team, the Bridgeport community, and every person who joined us over the weekend.

Thank you for being part of The Rodear and for carrying forward the culture of friendship, learning and generosity at its heart.

Be sure to save the date! The Rodear 2027: July 29 - 31 in Bridgeport, California.

The 2026 Rodear has come to a close.

To every artist, maker, musician, poet, instructor, scholarship recipient, volunteer, partner, and guest who made this weekend possible -
Thank you!

Some weekends leave behind more than memories. They leave behind a stronger community.

This weekend reminded us that friendship is one of the most meaningful things we create together.

We’re grateful for each of you.

Until next year.

One of The Rodear’s greatest privileges is introducing the women who represent the next generation of Western artists and makers.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to meet this year’s Sallie Knowles Joseph Scholarship recipients and hear about the mentors, workshops, and experiences that have shaped their work. One joy of a small gathering is that these stories aren’t told only from a stage—they become conversations shared throughout the weekend.

Here’s a look at this year’s Scholarship Recipients.

We hope you’ll take a few moments to introduce yourself. Some of the most memorable weekend conversations begin with a simple introduction.

Join us July 23–25 in Bridgeport, California, as we celebrate art, learning, and the people shaping the future of the American West. Limited tickets are still available. Secure your seat at the table today! https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/the-rodear--2026

Jill at TCT Silver is teaching a silver bracelet workshop. There are only a few spots left in her class and there is still time to sign up! Snag your spot before it’s sold out.

Robin with Robin Egan is also teaching a class this year. Her beaded card wallet class also has a few spots left so be sure to sign up before it’s full!

Last year, Sallie Knowles Joseph Scholarship recipient Julia Hanson chose to study saddle making with Pedro Pedrini. The scholarship stories continue long after the weekend ends. In just a couple of weeks, we’ll welcome a new group of scholarship recipients to The Rodear to begin sharing the next chapter.

Why does The Rodear begin with learning?

Because The Rodear isn’t designed for spectators. It’s designed for participants.

Before the evening gatherings begin, people are already learning together. Around workshop tables, at jeweler’s benches, and while sketching at Hunewill Ranch, curiosity is encouraged, knowledge is shared, and friendships begin to form. By the time guests arrive, the atmosphere has already begun to take shape.

There is still limited space available in select workshops for those who would like to experience the beginning of the story.

Tickets are selling fast so be sure to reserve your seat at the table today! Tickets are available here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/the-rodear--2026
