Congrats Jackie
Please join us in congratulating Jackie Pike on a long and distinguished career. Jackie has retired from RWB Fire after serving the district for 40 years!
She started her career as a Volunteer Firefighter, was then hired as the Staff Secretary, became a Permit Tech and eventually the Deputy Fire Marshal. Jackie had a lot of titles over the years and taught safety programs in the schools long enough to see some of those kids join the ranks here at RWB. To say Jackie had an impact on the fire department and this community is an understatement, but one thing she was famous for was her baking, no event went without treats from Jackie's kitchen and in many cases she delivered those treats to the different stations in case they didn't get any.
Jackie will be missed by our staff, the builders she worked with for decades and the schools she dedicated so much time.
The South Park Community Church Fellowship Hall will be hosting a party for Jackie on November 14th at Noon in Fairplay.
