We had a BLAST last night! 5 events, 5 different schools, over 1,000 served🤍✨
Thank you Hollister R-V School District Reeds Spring Schools Galena Absville Elementary Taneyville School Forsyth School- it is always a blessing to be invited by our schools to be present on open house night, grateful for the opportunity to connect with our neighbors🤗

A special thanks to Rotary Club of Hollister, MO for helping us provide groceries for the evening, we are so blessed to be partners with you!

⭐️August Volunteer Spotlight⭐️
Meet our August spotlight: Carl & Sue Sieveking

Twenty years ago, they traded St. Peters, MO, for life on Table Rock Lake after purchasing a 15-cabin resort in the Aunts Creek area. They ran the resort for 13 years before selling it in 2019 and officially retiring.

But retirement didn’t mean sitting still! Through the Give 5 Branson program, they discovered Christian Action Ministries and have been volunteering happily ever after✨

They’ve been married for 31 years and have 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren who live spread out all across the country. When they aren’t volunteering, they enjoy fishing and staying involved in their church, Praise & Worship Lutheran Church.

Their favorite hobby? International traveling! 🌎✈️ They’ve explored lots of incredible places around the world and are looking forward to their next adventure (spoiler: it’s Portugal!)

We are so thankful for the time and joy they bring to serving our community in Stone County. Thank you for choosing CAM. We think “retired” looks good on you!❤️

Excited to see your students' smiling faces this week! We kicked off back to school last week are thrilled to keep it going. This time of year is always a blessing, we are grateful for our outstanding school partners who continue striving to make this season as inclusive and accessible for all of our families.

We could not be more grateful for Twisted up - roadside markets !!!! Yesterday we called with an immediate need and they absolutely came through❤️ with their generous donations, we were able to keep our pantry stocked for the Unite Table Rock Lake Stone County School Readiness Fair!!

They have continued to bless us with beautiful, fresh produce to carry us through the season and we are so thankful the Lord has orchestrated this partnership.

With back-to-school events in full swing and the pressure of making sure the kids have everything they need, this time of year can really make households feel the crunch.

Thanks to YOUR support of our Twist Out Hunger campaign, over the last 24 hours we’ve been able to send out:

🍉 2 bins of watermelons
🍈 1 bin of cantaloupes
🍅 20 flats of fresh tomatoes
🌽 Around 15 boxes of peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, sweet corn & more!

That’s a whole lot of fresh produce that headed to Christian Action Ministries (CAM) to help families and individuals right here in our region. ❤️

And it’s all possible because of this amazing little community!

Before the Doors Open ❤️

Before we begin serving our community each day, we pause together—volunteers and guests alike—to pray.

We pray for the families who will walk through our doors, for those carrying burdens we may never see, and for God to guide our hands and hearts as we serve.

We’re so grateful that our pantry is more than a place to receive food. It’s a place of hope, kindness, dignity, and prayer. 🙏❤️
