🌍💚 September is African Heritage Month in Maryland!

This month, we celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, histories, languages, music, food, stories, and contributions of African people and families throughout our communities.

One of the most beautiful things about a school community is everything we bring with us. Different cultures. Different traditions. Different stories. Different backgrounds. And somehow, when we come together, they all become part of OUR community. 🐾

265 bags later… our Bobcats made it through WEEK ONE! 🙌🏽🐾

Today, Baden Elementary PTA sent each of our students into the weekend with a little to-go bag to celebrate making it through their first week back. We were also able to put many of the supplies generously collected for us by the Croom Community Farmers Market to good use, helping us make this possible for all 265 of our students.

A huge thank you to The Croom Community Farmers Market for continuing to support Baden and showing what community supporting community really looks like. 💙💚 One week down, Bobcats. We hope you enjoyed your little surprise and have a GREAT weekend!

🎈📚 Welcome Back, Bobcats!

There’s nothing like seeing Baden come back to life for a brand-new school year! 💙💚💛

We also want to give a special thank you to one of our Baden parents who generously donated their time and talent to create the beautiful balloon decorations that helped welcome our students and families back to school. 🎈

This is what community looks like. Whether you’re volunteering your time, sharing a talent, supporting an event, joining PTA, or simply showing up for our students, every contribution makes a difference.

🍎💙💚 Welcoming Our Teachers Back!

Before the school year officially kicked off, Baden Elementary PTA had the pleasure of welcoming our amazing teachers and staff back with breakfast on August 20th!

It was a small way for us to say thank you for everything they do for our students and families and to help start the new school year with a little extra love (and a full stomach! 😊).

We’re so excited for the year ahead and grateful for every teacher and staff member who makes Baden such a special place for our Bobcats. 💙💚💛
