Help For Pets will have free dog and cat food available at St. Paul's Episcopal Church food pantry in Baden on Friday, June 12 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. It will be drive thru only- please stay in your car. 13500 Baden Westwood Road.

Miley has lived near an auto repair shop for many years. She is loved by her caretaker and all her other friends, including the mechanics and even the county sheriff who patrols the area. She does a great job keeping mice out of the shop and the cars that come in for repair. Her caretaker noticed her limping last week and a wound on her hind leg. We were able to trap her, get her in to Dr. Parkin for sedation, exam, xrays, cleaning her wound, a long acting antibiotic injection, pain medication, anti-inflammatory medication and update her rabies vaccine. Help For Pets will be partnering with the Maryland Food Bank Mobile Market on Wednesday May 20 from 12pm until 1pm at the Nanjemoy Community Center. We will have free dog food, cat food, livestock feed and information about the services we have available for our community.
