💙April is World Autism Month

The Missouri Commission on Autism Update📣

The Missouri Commission on Autism is charged with developing an “Autism Roadmap for Missouri” that encompasses the lifespan of a person living with autism. The roadmap includes best practices for care and services within healthcare, education, vocational support, and community resources, and highlights opportunities for improvement. The commission is currently drafting recommendations for Phase IV.

Work is being conducted in four phases:
1. Transitioning to adulthood
2. Screening, Diagnosis, and Early Interventions for Young Children with Autism
3. Access to care
4. Complex Behavioral Needs and Crisis Care

🎲What happens in the casino… gets posted on Facebook!🎲

We had an absolute blast at our Casino-Themed Dance & Game Day at the Allen Family Resource Center! From hitting the dance floor 💃🕺 to shouting “BINGO!” 🎉, the energy was nonstop. Guests enjoyed tasty snacks, refreshing drinks, and *so many* fun photo ops 📸—let’s just say, the camera roll is full of winners!

A huge shoutout to Alexus and our incredible Employment Services department for helping make this event such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💙
