Got a for you!!
You’ve seen plenty of pictures of Baker Free Library, but have you seen pictures of the Henry Baker homestead?
Henry’s house once stood where the NHADA/daycare building stands now, and it looks like the granite post from his house is still there, too!!
First photo is from 1892, and is courtesy of the Bow Heritage Commission’s ‘Then and Now’ collection. Second photo is courtesy of Eric Anderson. Third photo is one we have on display here at the library and is believed to be from the 1920s or so.
