FRC Team 56: ROBBE FRC Team 56 R.O.B.B.E. (Robotics of Bound Brook & Ethicon) Team 56 is the result of an over 25 year partnership between Bound Brook High School and Ethicon, Inc.

Our team was the first team created by Johnson & Johnson, and one of the very first FIRST Robotics teams in the state of New Jersey. Bound Brook and Ethicon, Inc. have a long history of FIRST spirit and continue to demonstrate our enthusiasm for FIRST through the future by following a model of Local Reach- Global Vision.

Today we proudly celebrate Andrew Gonzalez, Robot Development Leader for R.O.B.B.E. Team 56!

Andrew will be attending Northeastern University to study Mechanical Engineering as he works toward his goal of earning a master’s degree and pursuing a career in the automotive industry. 🚗⚙️

One of Andrew’s favorite memories was traveling to Houston for the World Championship — an unforgettable experience representing our team on the big stage! 🌎🏆

Fun Fact: Andrew plays the bass! 🎸

🎓✨ 2026 R.O.B.B.E. Senior Signing Day ✨🎓

Today we proudly celebrate Sherlyn and “The Path Ahead” as she commits to attending Brookdale Community College to major in Psychology! 💙🧠

Sherlyn’s goal is to become a therapist and help others, and we know her compassion and determination will lead her to great success.

One of her favorite memories from Robotics was our go-karting trip, where she felt connected with her teammates — a reminder that R.O.B.B.E. is more than a team, it’s a family. ❤️🤖

Fun fact: Sherlyn can make bird noises! 🐦

Congratulations to Favian Casique, President of R.O.B.B.E. Team 56, on his next chapter at Lehigh University! 🐾❤️

Favian will be majoring in Biomedical Engineering with the goal of earning his bachelor’s degree and pursuing a career in research & development. His dedication, leadership, and passion for STEM have made a lasting impact on our school community.

Favorite memory: Traveling to Houston for Worlds 🌎🤖
Fun fact: He’s a big Eagles 🦅 and Knicks 🏀 fan!

We had an incredible time participating in this showcase at Warren County Tech, sponsored by Warren UAS. Our students demonstrated their innovation, teamwork, and technical skills while connecting with others who share a passion for STEM and drone technology.

Team 56 ROBBE participated in BAE Systems’ Bring Your Child to Work Day! 🤖✨

Students got hands-on by modeling with LEGO, programming SPIKE robots, building paper airplanes, and even launching big catapults—all while exploring the excitement of STEM and robotics.

We loved connecting with families, sharing our passion, and inspiring future innovators.

Day 3 of the FIRST Mid-Atlantic District Championship is here! 🔥🤖

It all comes down to today at Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena. The energy is high, the competition is fierce, and we’re ready to give it everything we’ve got on the field.

A special shoutout to our incredible lead mentor, Mike Prikril, for his years of dedication, guidance, and unwavering support. Your mentorship has shaped this team in countless ways, and we’re so grateful for everything you do! 🙌
