As we wrap up the summer and head into the fall, we can't wait to spend time at the Leadership Academy with our high schoolers and their families. It is always a joy to see our vision of a more equitable Boston come to life through these year-round programs!

The nonprofit is using guaranteed income and services aimed at breaking cycles of poverty.

It's been one week since the last day of camp and we are thrilled to announce the winners of the final 2026 Harbor Hustle....GREAT POINT LIGHT!! 🧡🍊🎃 🔸🏀🦊

In one of the tightest races — and one of the overall quickest Hustles — this summer, GPL came out on top and became back-to-back winners!

We can't wait to see everyone back on the island next summer for more incredible memories like these!

We loved having Councilor Brian Worrell and Representative Christopher Worrell back on the island this summer!

Since both Brian and Chris tried out the slingshot last summer, they played the important roles of rope puller and photographer while staff member Claire got to fly in the slingshot!

We're so proud of Ynez Correa for being a finalist in U.S. Figure Skating x Fashion Styling competition!

Ynez, who graduated from the Leadership Academy in the spring and worked as a staff member on the island this summer, is going head-to-head for the chance to design a costume for Olympic figure skater Isabeau Levito. Ynez will bring her talents to the Fashion Institute of Technology this fall, too. (Plus, you may recognize her as one of our CHV Umbrella models!)

Hole in one! ⛳🏌️

Thank you so much to Golf For All for your incredible partnership! The organization spends the summer with CHV, teaching campers how to perfect their golf swing.

Plus, they hosted a special clinic for the CHV community last weekend at Ponkapoag Golf Course, where they recognized some of our campers for their golf talents.
