On October 27, 2025, Catastrophic Category 5 Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica — unleashing unprecedented destruction across the island. The Western Region endured the most devastating impact, but the entire nation is reeling from immense loss of homes, food, water, medicine, and lives. 🙏🏾
The Joe Higgs Foundation (JHF) and Caribbean Education Foundation (CEF) has launched an Emergency Appeal to Help Jamaica recover and rebuild. Our team is on the ground, providing urgent relief — delivering supplies, coordinating care, and helping families in crisis.
This humanitarian effort is being led by Attorney Nikiki T. Bogle, Esq., granddaughter of the legendary Joe Higgs — the Father of Reggae, alongside a dedicated network of volunteers working tirelessly throughout Jamaica.
