After 478 days in the hospital, Jayden is finally home after receiving his heart transplant🏡❤️

Love from Lincoln was so happy to help make his homecoming a little more special with a new bike 🚲, a helmet and accessories to bring home, along with helping his family purchase him a new bed 🛌 💙

One of the things that makes Love from Lincoln so special is that the support we provide is personal to each family. Every family has different needs, and we’re able to listen, learn what would help them most in that moment, and show up in a way that makes a difference.

Because of every person who supports Love from Lincoln, we’re able to keep saying “yes, we can help” in whatever way a heart transplant family may need.

Welcome home, Jayden! We are so happy for you and your family! 🏡🚲❤️

This week, we welcomed two new🫀transplant children and their families into the Love from Lincoln family by awarding two $1,000 grants.

One grant was mailed by Hailey📬 The other was delivered by Lincoln during our visit to Boston Children’s 🏥

We are forever grateful for the kindness we’ve been shown throughout our entire journey. Our hope is that our kids grow up knowing that one of the best ways to say “thank you” is to pay that kindness forward💙

We hope these grants bring a little relief and a little hope during a really difficult chapter.

Last night, Love From Lincoln sponsored a catered family dinner in the resource room on the inpatient unit.

A chance to bring 🫀 families together to connect, share a meal, and support one another.

It has been a particularly heavy few weeks on the unit, and our hope is that evenings like this provide a little comfort and an opportunity to build a community with others who truly understand this journey.

Thank you to all of you who continue to support Love from Lincoln and make nights like this possible. Because of your generosity, we are able to provide a wide range of support to children and their families waiting for and recovering from heart transplants.

This week, we brought to our 🫀 kids for a fun-filled Monster Circus Puppet Show right on the inpatient unit. For children facing long hospital stays, events like these provide a welcome distraction, something exciting to look forward to, and a chance to just be kids.

At Love From Lincoln, we’re committed to creating opportunities for laughter and connection during some of the hardest and longest days. Thank you to everyone who helps make experiences like this possible for the families we serve.

Today we sent Starbucks gift cards to our Love from Lincoln families. It’s a simple gesture, but one that we know firsthand can make a big difference.

When we were in the hospital, we would often receive gift cards from friends, and it would literally make our day.

Being able to take 15 minutes to walk down to the lobby, grab a coffee, and have a small moment for myself before a long, exhausting day meant a lot. Those coffees were a little boost of energy, something to look forward to, and a sense of normalcy during one of the hardest seasons of our lives.

We hope these gift cards provide a small moment of comfort and remind these families that they are not alone.

Love from Lincoln was created after our son, Lincoln, received a heart transplant in March 2025 following an almost year-long wait at Boston Children’s Hospital. Having walked this journey ourselves, we understand the emotional, financial, and physical challenges these families face. It means the world to us to be able to give back and provide support to other families.
