MASSACHUSETTS — KNOW YOUR BALLOT

On November 3, 2026, voters will decide 9 statewide ballot questions.

Here’s the quick, nonpartisan breakdown 👇🏽

1️⃣ PUBLIC RECORDS
More legislative & gubernatorial records would become public, with exceptions.
➡️ YES = Expand public access | NO = Keep current rules

2️⃣ CPCS EMPLOYEES
Allows CPCS employees to collectively bargain.
➡️ YES = Allow bargaining | NO = Keep current rules

3️⃣ TOP-TWO PRIMARY
One primary ballot for all candidates. Top 2 advance.
➡️ YES = Top-two system | NO = Current system

4️⃣ SAME-DAY REGISTRATION
Allows eligible voters to register/update their address on Election Day.
⚠️ Starts in 2028 if approved.

5️⃣ STATE REVENUE
Changes the state revenue limit and provides refunds when revenue exceeds the limit.

6️⃣ NATURE FOR ALL
Creates a fund for conservation, parks, trails, open space & natural resources.

7️⃣ SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES
Sets statewide rules allowing certain single-family homes on qualifying lots.

8️⃣ RECREATIONAL MA*****NA
Repeals laws allowing legal retail recreational ma*****na sales.
⚠️ Starts in 2028 if approved.

9️⃣ FI****MS LAW
Decides whether to keep or repeal the 2024 Massachusetts fi****ms law.

Poll monitors can play a role in observing elections, but questions about where they are sent, what authority they have, and how their presence affects voters are important.
