Our AAAB 15th Anniversary Charity Gala was a beautiful evening filled with culture, gratitude, and community spirit. We were honored to welcome Mayor Tom Koch of Quincy and community leaders who joined us in celebrating this milestone.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our performers who brought the stage to life with incredible talent and passion. Your artistry reminded us of the power of culture to connect and inspire.

Join us on Thursday, February 26, 2026 to celebrate the Asian American Association of Boston’s 15th Anniversary at our Annual Charity Gala and help us raise critical funds to support programs that uplift and empower the Asian American community across Greater Boston!

You and your guests will enjoy an elegant evening at Ming’s Seafood Restaurant, Quincy, featuring a traditional banquet, cultural performances, and community celebration. Together, we will honor 15 years of service, leadership, and unity.

🎉✨ We had such a great time joining the Braintree 4th Annual Lunar New Year Festival on Feb 15, 2026 as a vendor! Thank you to the Chinese American Association of Braintree for hosting such a vibrant and welcoming celebration.

Hong Kong City Restaurant Recognized by the City of Taunton

Hong Kong City Restaurant, owned by President Philip Pan, was formally recognized by the City of Taunton for its efforts to support local families during the recent federal government shutdown.

During the shutdown, several Taunton families experienced temporary disruptions to SNAP benefits. Hong Kong City Restaurant voluntarily provided food assistance to residents in need and was honored as one of three local businesses recognized for their community support.

The recognition ceremony was hosted by Mayor Shaunna O’Connell at Taunton City Hall.

On October 4, the Asian American Association of Boston (AAAB), in partnership with the World Qipao United Association (WQUA) Boston Chapter, proudly hosted “Cheongsam in the City”, celebrating the elegance of traditional Chinese dress in a modern urban setting. Today’s event showcased the cheongsam in all its elegance, highlighting the beauty, artistry, and cultural significance of this iconic attire. Participants from diverse backgrounds, including students, joined in to celebrate and promote appreciation of Asian culture within the Greater Boston community.

🍁✨ On October 12, 2025 — following our first trip on October 2 — the Asian American Association of Boston (AAAB), together with our wonderful community partners Sunshine Travel and Gallop Global, brought AAAB members on a special autumn excursion to New Hampshire!

From a scenic cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee 🚤 to exploring the historic Castle in the Clouds 🏰, participants soaked in breathtaking views of vibrant fall foliage across the mountains.

This seasonal adventure wasn’t just about admiring nature’s beauty — it was also about building connections, deepening friendships, and celebrating our shared community spirit. 💕
AAAB is proud to continue serving and enriching the cultural life of Greater Boston.
