I Have Heard Your Prayer!
“This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I have heard your prayer.” 2 Kings19:20
If you have ever asked the question, “God are you hearing my prayer?" God has given you the answer! God hears every single petition you make. God is very clear in His word that those who call on Him will not only be answered but will be shown mighty things they do not know. However, you must search for Him with all your heart. What does it mean to search? It means to seek, hunt, comb through. It means you will dive into. Well, to me “dive into” means grabbing my Bible and start to explore for the answers that God has for me. It means, dig deep into God’s word. It means to examine my heart because God said that if I search Him with all my heart I would be found by Him. It means to inquire of God.
You see, you will not find the answers unless you totally delve into His Word, and get on your knees in prayer. God loves it when you go before Him and lay down your request. He tells us to bring everything to Him to bring our petition and with a heart of thanksgiving, making your request known to Him. He wants you to ask, He wants you to seek. For those who ask and seek, the Lord will open the door and answer them. He moves Heaven and Earth to come to your cry for help. No matter what you are praying for you can rest assured that God has your answer waiting for you. The answer might not be what you want but remember God knows what is best for you and if you put your hope and trust in Him; you can rest assured the answer is always in your best interest.
This very moment, God is saying to you, “I have heard your prayer!” Shout for joy, and thank the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who comes to you before you even ask for His help because He delights in answering your prayers. His love for you is everlasting and great is His faithfulness unto you.
We will be the one WHO the Lord hears. "The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry." Psalm 34:15
It’s easy to be righteous. It’s not a difficult thing to do. We have to choose every single day and every second of the day we will walk in holiness. It’s a choice that only a few make. Jesus said, “ For many are called, but few are chosen.” Mathew 22:14
Let me explain that verse Jesus said. Jesus means he’s sending out an invitation. He tells people what is the criteria for holy living. He does that through his word, the Bible, and attending church. Not just any church. But a church where the ministers are teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. So that we have accountability with other brothers and sisters in Christ.
Jesus issues the invitation but the people have to accept it by choosing him, and his ways. Then we are on his radar. "The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry." Psalm 34:15. We get his attention.
Unfortunately, Jesus knows people will not break their will and obey his. Therefore, only a small group will. They are the few chosen. Church, I have no better way than to say it this way. There is a very strict criteria and we must reply accordingly to his ways, not ours. Unfortunately, many will not, and in the process God does not hear or see them. People think everyone is heard. This is not Biblical. The righteous are the only one heard. Choose to be righteous.
Friends, let choose him. Let’s be seen and heard by him, and let him say to you today, “ I have heard your prayer.” 2 Kings19:20
God bless you.
