Hello October! My favorite time of year! Crisp air, beautiful trees and of course BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH! Unfortunately, like last year, things are looking a bit different for us. Last year it was a pandemic and we were not able to gather for our annual fundraising event. This year, I (Nicole) found that there is just not enough time in the day to balance planning a fundraiser, a wedding and work. Rest assured we are and are still able to help women touched by this horrible disease! For example, we have partner up with an amazing company Coils To Locs to provide wigs to women affected by breast cancer and through Coils to Locs , women have found pieces that help them look and feel like their beautiful self! We have been able to continue our efforts in other ways as well, like providing grocery gift cards to help families who have received a breast cancer diagnosis. Additionally, last year with the help of our dear family friend Shelly Saxton Imonti , we were able to continue our fundraising efforts virtually! We were so blessed for the time and effort she put forth for the cause (as always💕) to help us navigate virtual fundraising. In 2020, as a sign of the times, we also sold masks that helped contribute to our fundraising goals and efforts. This year, we may not have our annual event and we may not be posting on social media as frequently but please know that we are here. We are and will continue our efforts to help women facing this horrible disease!
