You made it! Graduation is here, and before we officially welcome you into the Year Up United Alumni Community, we want to give you one final career boost.

💼 ONE FINAL RIDE: Resume & Career Review

As part of our Year Up United Alumni Graduation Celebration, the Year Up United Alumni Board in Boston is bringing in professionals to meet one-on-one with recent grads for personalized resume reviews and career advice.

You’ll have 10 focused minutes with a professional who can help you strengthen your resume, identify what’s already working, provide actionable feedback, answer career questions, offer networking advice, and help you determine your next steps.

✈️ Bring Your Resume. We’ll Bring the Career Passport.

Participating grads will receive their own Career Passport when they arrive. During your review, you’ll walk away with a key resume strength, professional recommendation, and specific action item to take with you into your alumni journey.

☀️ Summer Is Officially Here! ☀️

As we kick off an exciting summer of events, don’t forget to join us for our Annual Summer Kickoff Backyard Barbecue!

We’re heading back to the South Shore and the wonderful town of Randolph for an afternoon filled with fun, food, and community.

Come relax, hang out, enjoy some summertime lemonade, blow bubbles, get your face painted, and reconnect with both new and familiar faces from the Year Up United community. Whether you’re looking to catch up with old friends or make new connections, this is the perfect way to start the summer.

UPDATE MAJOR KEY ALERT ‼️

with our summer kickoff, just a little under a week away we’ve had some major updates to our event. We have secured a barber who is willing to give free haircuts to families who show up with their young kids. We also wanted to highlight that this event is completely tailored around friends and families and young children. There’s going to be face painting bubbles, and haircut free for all kids that show up with their mom or dad keep in mind. This event is open to everybody, including Year Up United, Alumni, friends, families, cousins, aunties, uncles brothers sisters. This is all about the families and all about the Alumni. I support their families come unwind and relax in the backyard and Randolph, Massachusetts. See you there.
