Hello Everyone,

Tenacity and Year Up United Boston Alumni are excited to share an upcoming volunteer opportunity taking place on Tuesday, June 23rd from 3:30–5:30 PM at Moakley Park.

We invite you to join us for a community clean-up day focused on giving back, building community connections, and supporting a shared commitment to service.

This event also supports the USTA Foundation’s Realize the Dream pledge, a nationwide initiative inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. The campaign aims to reach 100 million volunteer service hours by Dr. King’s 100th birthday in 2029.

We encourage everyone to participate and welcome you to share this opportunity with friends, family, and colleagues who may be interested in volunteering alongside us.

We are putting together non-perishable food care packages in conjunction with restoration city Church in Roxbury. Join the Year Up United Boston Alumni Board, led by Vice Chair Christopher Vargas, in partnership with Restoration City Church for a powerful community initiative.

We’re coming together to assemble 100+ Blessings Care Kits for our brothers and sisters at Mass & Cass in Boston — a community deeply impacted by homelessness and substance use. These kits provide essential hygiene items while restoring dignity, care, and human connection.

Join the Year Up United Boston Alumni Board for “Plate It Forward” — a powerful evening of community service in Chelsea, MA during National Week of Service.

We’re partnering with Saint Luke’s–San Lucas Episcopal Church to support a predominantly LatinX community by stocking their pantry with culturally familiar foods and prepping fresh meals for over 400+ neighbors.
