Today marks an important milestone for the Mattapan Unity 5K! 🏁💙

This year’s 5K raised $3,000 for BINcA! , supporting a full year of youth soccer programming!

This investment was made possible by every race participant, donor, sponsor, volunteer, and community partner who showed up and believed in our mission. We are incredibly honored to have built a coalition of people who believe that community health also means reinvesting directly into our community and our young people.

Congratulations again to BINcA on becoming 2025 State Champions! 🏆 We’re proud to Run It Forward with you—and we hope 2026 is even bigger and more successful! 💙

We didn’t just run a 5K—we RAN IT FORWARD. 🏃🏾‍♀️🔥

Over 400 people came together to move, dance, celebrate wellness and show what unity looks like in motion. From first-time 5K participants to seasoned runners, every step created space for joy, culture, connection and a healthier community.

To every attendee, volunteer, vendor, performer and community partner: thank you for bringing the energy.

To our sponsors: thank you for investing in Mattapan.

To Live Fit Army, Pioneers Run Crew, Black Men Run, Black Girls Run, Traci Nicole Fitness and Last Lap: thank you for helping our community see that movement belongs to everyone.

This is bigger than race day. When we show up for one another, we create a ripple that moves the entire community forward.

We ran for ourselves.
We ran for each other.
We ran for the next generation.
Mattapan, this is how we RUN IT FORWARD. 💛💚❤️

Tag someone who brought the energy—and tell us: how will you ?

We’re just two days away from celebrating health, wellness, and community together!

We can’t thank our sponsors, donors, volunteers, coordinators, run clubs, wellness organizations, vendors, and participants enough for making 2025 such an incredible success. What started as a simple idea to bring people together through health and unity has grown into an unforgettable experience fueled by joy and connection.

This year, we’re welcoming even more racers, vendors, and excitement than ever before.

We can’t wait to see everyone at the starting line! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️💚
