North End Cares is happy to announce we're once again offering school scholarships to North End students! Any student who attends a school located in the North End and/or North End residents are eligible. Here's the information on the scholarships and how to apply:
Named in honor of the parents of one of our longtime board members, Olivia Scimeca, the Michelina & Raymond Costa Scholarship Fund has allowed NEC to award approximately $65,000 in scholarships and gift cards to over 100 students through the years!
Donations. These scholarships cannot be provided without the generosity and kindness of our multiple donors. Scholarship donations are typically given in $500, $750, and/or $1000 amounts, however, any amount is graciously accepted and will be allocated to the fund. Scholarships can be made in memory of a loved one, a business name, a family name, and/or in honor of someone. Any donation given in one of the three listed amounts above can have the scholarship given in a name of their choosing.

The scholarship winners will be announced during National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4th, in the Prado. Please feel free to share this information with any families who are eligible and may be interested in applying.
