In the July issue of SumNews, NECPAs President and CEO Zach Donah, CAE, reflects on the July 1 launch of the New England Society of CPAs and what this new chapter means for members.

By bringing together the CPA societies of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, NECPAs can provide more professional development, broader networks, stronger peer communities and a greater collective voice—while preserving the local relationships and state-level advocacy members value.

Game, set, connection! 🎾🏆

Yesterday, NECPAs members gathered at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, for the Karter Kup Tennis Scramble & Clinic — an afternoon that brought together professionals from across the region for tennis, networking and a little friendly competition.

Members had several ways to get in on the action: competing for the Karter Kup on the Hall of Fame’s grass courts, building their skills during the clinic or cheering on colleagues from the sidelines.

Beyond the matches, the event gave members an opportunity to step away from the office, strengthen connections and meet fellow professionals from across the New England accounting community.
