Thank you to Principal Gilliam for sharing his experience with Rehearsal for Life’s Urban Improv residency at the Murphy School!

Our residencies are located across 7 local schools and aim to provide students with the tools they need to take on new challenges through a theater-based Social-Emotional Learning curriculum.

Thank you for celebrating with us at (not quite) Banned in Boston 2025! Because of your generosity we were able to raise an astounding $374,000 to support Rehearsal for Life!

Over 100 guests joined us for an evening of laughs, food, and performances brought to you by our super talented students and staff. We appreciate our community so much for sharing our joy and successes! Whether through Urban Improv's in-school programming or through our afterschool Freelance Player troupes, we can assure that your gifts will make a long-term investment in the growth of our young people.
