Thank you to everyone who attended/participated in our Pre-Mother's Day event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Somerset Public Library. This gathering celebrated the vital roles that mothers and mother figures play in children's lives, offering an opportunity to unwind and connect.

We enjoyed food, fun, fellowship, and music from our talented youth. We listened to the story behind the crochet doll dress and why our dolls are named. Several free gift bags were raffled, including our crochet doll dress and doll, which was named Natasha by the winner. Guests also received free books about mothers and women.

A special thank you to our partner organization, Dress-A-Girl Around the World Bridgewater/West Bridgewater, for joining us.

We welcome partnerships with organizations that share our mission to support girls and women and foster a welcoming environment for all.

We are excited to announce that the barrel of sewn items, including sundresses, shorts, and t-shirts, provided by Dress-A-Girl Around the World Bridgewater/West Bridgewater and the washable/reusable sanitary pads from Days for Girls Shrewsbury MA Team have safely arrived in Liberia, West Africa. They were delivered to the Effort Baptist Church_Official and distributed. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort. It truly takes a village to achieve our mission, which is to support girls and women. We invite other organizations with similar goals to join us in this vital work. As the saying goes, “Many hands make light work.”

It was a great joy to reconnect in person with old faith leaders and to meet new ones while tabling at the Massachusetts Council of Churches Annual Meeting. This event took place at the Maliotis Cultural Center of Hellenic College Holy Cross in Brookline, MA., on June 25, 2025. We had the opportunity to learn about other ministries in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and beyond, while showcasing our ministry at Koha Girls, Inc.. Thanks to everyone who visited our table to learn about what we do and to purchase some items. All proceeds go to support girls and women worldwide.

A week ago, from June 19th to 21st, 2025, we (Koha Girls, Inc.) participated as a vendor/exhibitor at the New England Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. As an organization dedicated to supporting girls and women, we do not undertake this work alone; we partner with organizations such as Dress-A-Girl Around the World (Bridgewater/West Bridgewater) and the Days for Girls Shrewsbury, MA Team, which have similar missions. We welcome individuals and organizations that are interested in joining us to support girls and women worldwide.
