👏👏👏

Earlier today we were at the 17th Annual McNamara Veteran and First Responder Charity Golf Outing at Bethpage State Park, NY.

We came out to raise awareness, educate, and create a community in support of our Veterans, Military, First Responders, and their families.

Special thanks to event organizers Chris McNamara and Nancy Girimonti for having us out today.

This fundraiser helps to support nonprofits who serve our Veterans, Military, First Responders, and their families.

On September 19, 2026 I will begin a 2,222 Pull-Up Challenge at 11am in Mt. Sinai at the Heritage Center. This will run through Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 10am.

This will be a collective 2,222 pullup challenge as we work together to raise awareness of veteran and military su***de, honor their service, and break the stigma to facilitate su***de prevention for our nation’s warriors and defenders.

Please see the flyer or call my office for more information 631-854-1600. All are welcome to join in at any time during the challenge and add to the pull-up count - we are all in this together.

As we all join together for one last pull-up, we will begin the SAR Flag Family Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday, September 20th at 10am

Honored to be given the opportunity to donate 20 copies of my book, Unspoken Words: The Thoughts of a Soldier, to a member of Mission 22 in Arizona this month for free distribution amongst those who they are helping that are struggling with mental health.

This past Tuesday at the Legislature’s General Meeting, I had the distinct honor to surprise a fellow Marine, Eric D’Arce, with the honor of being recognized as the NY JETS’ Veteran of the Game. Thank you Steve Castleton for all you do and for making this possible.

Eric exemplifies service to others, leadership, integrity and dedication to his country and community.

Eric not only has the support of his community but of his family. He, along with his wife and children, always make time to help and honor others. On Tuesday, it was fitting that we honor Eric with his family by his side.
