What an incredible evening at last week’s Summer Soiree!

Together, we gathered to celebrate art, history, community, and the many stories that make Boston what it is today. Thank you to our partners at Everyone250 and CJP - Combined Jewish Philanthropies, our Community Creative Fellows, and everyone who joined us for a truly special night.

As we honor Boston’s 250th year, we’re proud to help tell a more complete story—one that recognizes the immigrant communities, artists, and changemakers whose contributions have shaped our city.

Two exciting new gallery exhibits are coming to The Vilna next month! Join us on June 28 at 3:00 PM to hear from the artists about their work and process.

American Chutzpah, by Steve Marcus, was made specially for The Vilna in celebration of America’s 250th year. Inspired by Jewish contributions, moments, and folk tales in American history, Marcus's hand-drawn works of art on paper comically illustrate some of the great Jewish American moments that shaped American culture, its democratic principles, and spirit.

Echoes of Home, made by Inna Zhukovsky Zilber, brings you on a journey through Jewish memory. Through ceramics, textiles, watercolor, and sculpture with found objects, Zhukovsky Zilber explores identity, cultural memory, and the feeling of belonging.
