Who could use this next? ♻️

A desk from one office can help furnish a classroom. A table can find new purpose in a welcoming community space. A chair, cabinet, or other reusable resource can keep serving people instead of heading to the waste stream.

The Furniture Trust turns surplus into purpose, helping strengthen communities, support sustainability, and create real IMPACT for nonprofits, schools, educators, and neighborhood spaces.

A desk’s next chapter starts long before it reaches its next home.

Thoughtful routing, efficient transportation, and coordinated logistics all shape how surplus office furniture becomes support for nonprofits, schools, and educators. When movement is planned with care, usable resources stay in circulation longer, unnecessary trips are reduced, and the circular economy becomes practical in everyday ways.

That journey is part of the story, and part of the IMPACT. Engage with The Furniture Trust to see how responsible furniture reuse carries more value forward into the community. #1 %fortheplanet

Think Beyond Disposal

When businesses are clearing office spaces, disposal shouldn’t be the only option.
Strategic furniture reuse can help organizations reduce landfill waste, recover value from existing assets, and redirect usable resources to nonprofits and community organizations.
At The Furniture Trust, we help make that transition possible, turning surplus into service and creating environmental and community IMPACT.

One decision can keep furniture out of the landfill and put it back to work where it’s needed most.

That’s the power of reuse through The Furniture Trust. Surplus office furniture becomes practical support for nonprofits, schools, and educators, while reducing waste and preserving valuable resources.

Since 2008, The Furniture Trust has kept millions of pounds of furniture out of the waste stream, proving that one thoughtful choice can create lasting IMPACT for communities and the environment. ♻️ #1%fortheplanet

Helping Furniture Reach Its Next Purpose

Furniture can have value long after a business is finished using it—but getting that furniture to the organizations that need it takes resources, coordination, and transportation.
Thank you to Northern Bank for a $5,000 contribution supporting the cost of relocating donated furniture to nonprofits throughout the community. Your support helps make those connections possible and allows more usable furniture to reach spaces where it can continue serving a purpose.

We’re grateful for your support of The Furniture Trust!

A serenity room, a computer lab, office spaces, and a Music Clubhouse, all made more functional through furniture reuse.

This testimonial from Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell highlights what happens when surplus furniture finds new purpose in the community. Thoughtful donations can help transform everyday spaces into places where young people and staff can focus, create, and connect.

Thank you to everyone who helps The Furniture Trust extend that IMPACT through reuse. #1 %fortheplanet

More Than Furniture

What we move is only part of the story.
The Furniture Trust connects businesses with nonprofits so quality furniture can continue serving a purpose instead of becoming waste.
Every table, chair, desk, and workstation redirected represents an opportunity—to support a mission, strengthen a space, and create lasting IMPACT.

What We Choose Matters

Change doesn’t always begin with something new. Sometimes, it begins with choosing to make better use of what we already have.
When quality furniture is redirected to organizations that need it, it can become part of a classroom, a workspace, a community program, or a place where people come together.
One thoughtful choice can create IMPACT far beyond where it began.
